Prior to entering the ministry Carl served as a police officer for a number of years.

You Have to Read This Book!!

I had only planned on reading a few pages before bed, but I couldn't put it down! I wish the book was longer! When I was done reading I was wishing that there were more pages and more lessons. I learned that when you really need Him---God will show up even when you give up all hope. The things that happen to Carl and his family in this book made me laugh and cry, but they all came down to one lesson: GOD WILL BE THERE WHEN YOU NEED HIM. You may go through a bunch of frustration, tears, and even tornadoes, but when it comes down to it He will be there just in time.

"Troubles of a Righteous Man" is so wonderfully written that I could envision everything he talks about. My favorite thing about the book is that he writes about some unfortunate events that took place in his life, but then he shows how God came through and made everything work. This book taught me how to look at my own life. Things may not work out how you expected, but you better believe that if you have God in your corner nothing is impossible! And your life is going to be better than ever! You won't be exempt from unexpected events, but God will be there by your side to help you through so you'll never be alone. I can't wait for more books by Carl!!!

A Living Example of God's Molding Process...

There is a man who lost it all and is still working to gain it back, but the truth is he lost nothing. What he lost was the ability to live the way the world wants him to live, but he gained a whole new perspective on life that is still in progress.
